Product Warranty

This warranty is provided by PEC International Pty Ltd trading as FanForce Australia.

The benefits provided under this warranty are in addition to any rights and remedies available under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Warranty Coverage

FanForce ceiling fans are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 years from the original date of purchase.

  • Domestic installations:

    • The first 3 years include in-home service (parts and labour)

    • Remaining warranty period covers replacement parts only

  • Commercial installations:

    • 1-year parts-only warranty applies

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.

Conditions of Warranty

To be eligible for warranty coverage:

  • The fan must be installed by a licensed electrician

  • A compliant electrical safety certificate must be issued at the time of installation

  • Proof of purchase and proof of licensed installation must be provided upon request

  • The product must be installed and used in accordance with FanForce installation instructions

Important:
Before installation, all components must be inspected. Any visible damage must be reported to the place of purchase prior to installation.
Warranty does not cover cosmetic damage identified after installation.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover faults, damage, or issues caused by or resulting from:

Installation & Electrical Supply

  • Incorrect installation or wiring practices

  • Installation by an unqualified or unlicensed installer

  • Failure to provide an electrical safety certificate

  • Power surges, voltage fluctuations, lightning strikes, or ripple control signals

  • Interference caused by other electrical devices (e.g. microwaves, hot water systems)

Normal Characteristics & Adjustments

  • Minor variations in fan speed between identical models

  • Intermittent humming or electronic noise caused by electrical supply conditions

  • Wobble, vibration, or noise resulting from:

    • Incorrect blade alignment

    • Unbalanced blades

    • Loose mounting or fixing screws

    • External influences such as building movement

Use, Modification & Environment

  • Use of non-approved wall controls, remotes, receivers, or light fittings

  • Modification of the product or use outside its intended purpose

  • Exposure to unsuitable environments or conditions beyond product rating

  • Accidental, intentional, or misuse-related damage

Corrosion & Surface Damage

  • Corrosion, rust, or surface staining (including “tea staining”)

  • Failure to maintain stainless steel components in corrosive or coastal environments

  • Surface deterioration due to environmental exposure or lack of maintenance

Consequential Loss

  • Damage to ceilings, furnishings, walls, floors, or structures

  • Labour costs for installation, removal, or reinstallation

  • Any indirect or consequential loss associated with installation or use

Troubleshooting Requirement

Many operational issues are related to installation or setup and are not product faults.

Before lodging a warranty claim, customers are required to follow the FanForce Troubleshooting Checklist to rule out common causes such as:

  • Remote pairing issues

  • Loose wiring or connectors

  • Blade imbalance

  • Electrical interference

Failure to complete basic troubleshooting may result in the claim being declined or service fees applying.

Australian Consumer Law Notice

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Warranty claims must be lodged within the warranty period from the original date of purchase.

To lodge a claim, you must provide:

  1. Proof of purchase (receipt or tax invoice)

  2. Proof of licensed installation (installation invoice or safety certificate)
